@ munichfan:

It looks like we're cut from the same wood, but there's probably not much point arguing or discussing this type of thing on here, my bad... Gotta be there to understand it. Obviously people who only have ever seen it on TV will not reap the same benefits as those inside the stadium and feeling the atmosphere fire up as hot as the flames themselves. These guys just have no idea :)

We most certainly are, but I won't comment as the other forum users reactions to that statement weren't too good last time ;)

Am new to this forum and mainly joined because I want to know you're opinion on the ultras and fans lighting flares and stuff like that at matches. Do you enjoy seeing it and how would you rate our backing compared to others?

I love it every time when i see Bayern fans away with flares.
Atmosphere is 200% better. I am from county where flares are normal thing

Maybe it's because of the age, because I recall myself about 20 years ago liking those pyro-things (not only in games - as we have a custom in Easter to flare A LOT of pyro - not only "innocent" flares), but I got to admit that when I see them now I can't help thinking the risks involved.

Tbf it's a good thing that in AA you can choose where to sit, cause I like the image of a family with kids having the opportunity to go to a match and enjoy it. In where I live now, it's not an option, as those pyros may light in every part of the stadium, so usually in football games you see mainly males between 18-30.

Anyway, I can understand why you like it (I used to) and I am sure you would not agree in some "disagreements" or risks. Probably I would not understand those disagreements 15-20 years before, but now when I see those flares I have a mixed emotion of enjoyness and fear of something that can go wrong.
