Great Bayern Moments

Postby Element » Sat May 21, 2011 7:25 pm

Our Club is The biggest Club in Germany , and one of the biggest Clubs in the world

The Club was found in 27th February 1900

So those are 111 years of HISTORY

in those years , bayern had HUGE Success , but also some disappointments

The Greatest players played here

Greatest Managers , Coaches and Doctors worked here

111 years of EVERYTHING , pain , Happiness , Emotions , Tears , Sweat , WAiting , PASSION and most of all success

During those Years , There were many unforgettable moments (positive or Negative)

every football fan knows the CL Final of 1999 , Collina called it the weirdest Game he has ever Refereed and he even has a tape of it at home

But there were also Great Moments

I think that we need A Thread To keep those memories Alive , to Keep the best of those 111 years alive

So i am going to Start with My Memory

=============================
Schalke , MeisterDer Herzen

19th May 2001 , A Date That No Schalke or Bayern Fan will ever forget

That Year Schalke was Meister for exactly 4 minutes and 38 seconds !!

it was the 34th Spieltag

The Table of the 33rd Fixture was

1-Bayern with 60 points and A Goal difference of +25
2-Schalke with 59 points and A Goal Difference of +28

so A Bayern Loss and Schalke Win means that title goes to schalke due to the better Goal Difference

the Matches of both teams in the last Fixture were

Hamburger SV-Bayern
Schalke-Unterhaching

Both MAtches Started and Unterhaching began Great and actually were leading 0-2 after only 27th minutes

Schalkes Dream was gone

then Schalke scored 2 goals in a row in the 44th and 45th minute , to tie it 2-2

HALF TIME IN BOTH MATCHES

Hamburg 0-0 Bayern
Schalke 2-2 Unterhaching

BAYERN TILL NOW IS MEISTER

2nd Half Begins , 69th minute , UNTERHACHING scores 2-3 , Schalkes dream appears over

Then Again Schalke scores 2 goals in a row in 73rd and 74th , and now are leading 4-3

Bayern still 0-0 , so bayern is MEISTER

then begins the Drama , 89th minute in Schalke , Ebbe Sand scores for Schalke 5-3 , 3 points are sealed for Schalke

Few seconds Later in the 90th minute , HAMBURG SCORES THE 1-0 Vs Bayern

SO SCHALKE IS MEISTER

The Referee Whistles , Schalke Wins

everyone is waiting , The Announcer announces "90th minute in Bayern is over , Hamburg wins 1-0"

SCHALKE FANS Start Celebrating

some go to Field , players Celebrating , Crowds Celebrating

SUDDENLY , The Screens on the field are on , Showing the injury time of Bayerns match .... it is the 92nd minute

IT shows an indirect Free kick for Bayern ... Bayern play it , Anderson HITS The Ball....GOAAAAAL BAYERN 1-1

GAME OVER IN Hamburg

BAYERN IST MEISTER , with only 1 point Difference

Schalke TASTED the title for exactly 4 minutes and 38 seconds

and were Called Meister der Herzen (Champions of the hearts)

Here is a Video About it

I'll never forget Robben's volley against ManUre last season. Although it's a really close memory, I'm a bit too young to give any better memory. But last season, all of it, was a great memory. Olic's last minute in the home leg was awesome too.

It would probably have been better to show a video with all the goals, not just the last one. I tried to find one yesterday but couldn't. That night was truly a miracle. We scored twice in the last minute (89 and 120) and we were 1-0 down for most of the game and 3-1 down in extra time.

I couldn't find the highlights of the first and only time I have seen FCB. When they drew 1-1 against Glasgow Rangers with an injury time free kick by Michael Tarnat levelling up. Match report below

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/sport/football/champions_league/454003.stm

But below is highlights from the return leg with Rangers only needing a draw to qualify into the KO stages. But a penalty from Strunz in the return game in the Olympicstadion knocked Rangers out. We were close, hit the bar quite a few times and a few other close chances, with a couple of magnificent saves from Kahn. The game will be remembered by me with the serious injury to Michael Mols which eventually ruined his career.

But these two games are significant to me, as I got to see one of the greatest teams ever, and begin what has become a love of FCB. Enjoy the highlights!

To all those, Over the years,
who have come to
Munich as strangers
and left as good friends.
Zum Wohl!

I was in Getafe watching the game live in the stadium !! And I was talking with my friend about Toni and how easy he managed to score goals from nowhere  and about Ribery being one of the greatest players in the world.

Granero (currently playing for Real Madrid) was sitting behind me in that game as he was a Getafe player, but he was injured.

When Ribery scored the equalisher in the final minute It was a great moment but I remember the final minute of the Extra-time. We were given a free kick. Lahm was going to take it and Kahn was going upwards to Getafe's box. I told my friend "If Kahn scores I will jump on the field" There were some rebounds, Sosa made a world class ball control and assisted to Toni who scored the great equalisher

There was also a great moment for Bayern when we won the league in the final matchday again. One year before 2001. But 2001 was just crazy. That Zickler goal =D> And then Patrick Andersson taking the decisive free kick  I think that I've never seen him taking a free kick. Maybe I'm wrong

Interesting, you didn't often see Kahn rushing out of the box and doing a sliding tackle... poor Mols was mighty unlucky there.

That's why Kahn is so awesome, at least he didn't come out of his box and pull karate moves like Wiese is known to do.

He had a brilliant slide tackle during some game, I remember it in a highlight reel somewhere...

but yeah, definitely not the regularity that Neuer does it. Sweeper Keeper at its best.
