This is a very honourable football-related activity in India. =D>

^ Good thing sharing it. I was not aware of it. My college(Indian School of Mines) was like at 5 hours drive from the city mentioned in article, Ranchi. The state isn't really that poor though it does have one of the lowest per capita income and has a low literacy rate. (though TATA (Motors, Steel everything(If you've never heard of them which is quite impossible to be true, they own Jaguar and Corus. Some familiar names.) is located in the same state. They have developed one city to great levels) .

There are many tribal communities in the state and quite a few excellent archers have hailed from there recently.

I have utmost respect and admiration for Mr. Franz Gastler for the initiative he has taken. =D>

Yeah, I belong from Jharkhand and it is one of the most mineral rich land areas of the world.

Good to see that some people care for the sport. Although people forget that most of the hockey players come from Jharkhand, hell our own Cricket captain is from the state.

Plus, if you hadnt heard, Indian Women's Football team defeated Netherlands' Women's football team 1-0 in a friendly match. Yay! :D
