About the 3rd kit, I kinda feel the red stripe doesn't go well with the Bayern Badge on the chest. Feels like one of both things is forced to be there. I could change my mind in time xD

CL kits don't have that FC Bayern München printing on the back if I'm not mistaken. And also the name is printed above the number

Have to say those shorts the team wore yesterday were pretty slick. I think I prefer them over the regular away shorts, and probably my favorite of all the shorts. Definitely over the black with the red line :D

Edit: By yesterday I mean when away against Schalke Saturday. I'm losing track of time :/

Well i saw the shirt in the FCB fanshop in Centro Oberhausen.. The whole away kit is just gross.. Don't like it at all, especially that ugly grey bar on the bottom...

I think it's quite good. I'm not so much a fan of the other two. The home kit I choose not to dislike because it is THE Bayern kit, and the CL one I liked until I saw the whole ensemble.

Does anyone know if those shorts are just a one-time thing? Still trying to convince myself to buy a kit but I liked the deeper red shorts. Unfortunately haven't been able to find them online yet, but I would appreciate it if someone could hook a brother up with some gouge...

Also if someone could explain what the "authentic" kit on the Bayern US store is compared to the other one. Not that I want to spend thirty extra dollars, but I also don't want to spend $110 on something that isn't authentic.

Yeah, the away kit looks much better with the red shorts.

I Always wondered why US has those expensive jerseys, lets say for football.. 200$ shirts and then Authentic ones for almost 300$ :S Isn't it just the jerseys the players wear aswell? Those authentic ones?

No, player jerseys are different compared to the generally sold. They are lighter for one.

I just found this jersey from 1999/00 season (?) in second-hand shop for only 3 euros. I am pretty happy, what a bargain

But that 2008 kit was much better IMO

I just bought the new home/away jerseys, and can't wait. They're the first I've bought since the 1999 CL jersey. I haven't liked many of the things they've done with the jerseys over the years.

However, I forgot about that one in 2008. Thanks! I was out of work and didn't have the money at the time, but I will try to find if someone has that one somewhere available, because I forgot how great that one was. I got the 1997 Uefa Cup one that is pretty much the white inverse of it, and I still wear it.

This new matte black/charcoal/grey stripes and logo on black is up there with the worst they've ever had. The logo not matching up and sometimes having a black/charcoal/grey square right on the red stripe... come on now, who didn't stop this from going forward?
