I'll hate in that aspect: we don't have time! Hey, for all I care, let the whole squad - not just the starting XI! - be German, Oberbayern even if you will!
But we need to maintain a spot in the top 5 or lose it forever... We cannot refrain in that matter of 'wait and see what the others do' again! We finally took a big step forward around 2010, actually skyrocketed by our youths! Just that other clubs again took bigger or one and a half steps in the same time... We were already a little behind, so the gap is NOT becoming smaller or staying the same this way... If we willfully throw this away for a youth that - right now - just isn't there (yet) - we relegate ourselves to a second level club completely voluntarily...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Not so sure... We have always been stupidly complacent, and if it weren't for horrible Bundesliga performances, we would've never splashed the cash for Ribéry in the first place...

Then, l wonder what we will do with all money, considering our new youth center ended, which costed over 70 m euros. Our revenue growth is at good rate as well.

Real is the only team who have more balanced squad than us, with the reality they will have some keys players who will be over 32 years old next season, All we need is world class wingers. We really have great advantage, l hope our MGT won't miss out on it.

All? Wingers are the most difficult spots, and we already seemingly deemed Sané, Dembélé and others not good enough - and brought in Costa

We still have B.Silva. After all, we didn't want Sane(later confirmed by Kalle)while Dembele wanted to move to BVB for his development though we really wanted him.

Guys, you are overreacting. İnvesting on youth is a big plus for us.

-generating revenue by selling young player we don't rate.
-developing world class player. Even one world class potential player a 3 years is a big plus.

with the increasing financial powers of clubs, they intends to keep their stars.also considering even a fodder costs around 50 m euros in today's market. for instance world class RB's and creative CM's are rare in the market.

of course, we should overpay when needed. youth sector, Reschke factor and world class signings should be balanced in a good manner. Let's not forget we paid 80 m euros with bonuses for Sanches, who was a Benfica U19 player at the start of the last season. We signed Süle as 4th CB. who believed if we would sign him as 4th choice?

Well in all fairness, in our CB spots there's heavier fluctuation than in a Tokyo rush hour

Again, I'm fine with the youth - but you said it yourself: one every three or four years is GOLDEN! What about the other years? A squad like Bayern Munich needs at least one or better two world class signings every year... Jupp was the one to point this out and hasn't grown tired of reminding us since whenever he still says something... Hitzfeld sees it the same way... Youth Centre can be a great asset, addition and stuffing - but it'll never be good enough to maintain a spot as an elite club on its own...

Plus: we have a coach that is terribly awful with youngsters - here we're getting back to when I said we don't really have a plan...

-signing and developing world class talents such as Kimmich, Sanches, Süle e.t.c.
-signing world class players such as Hummels, Vidal.

l assume you misinterpreted Uli's words regarding youth. also considering depending on youth center is a crazy thinking.

Btw, our U19 team is about to win the league as well. Let's hope we can develop at least 1 WC potential from these kids.

Above all, to depend on youth, we have to develop our own world class talents first, then this will reduce the costs of transfers. it's simple like that. simple logic from Uli and all misinterpreted his words. l think original interview shows the reality, which we talked before.
