Well Atletico are set piece specialists. I don't know where to find data on the amount of corners the team gets but last season, from whoscored,
they got 44 corners and 27 FKs in La Liga and scored 37 from set pieces [source]
(I think corners and FKs are included). So that's around 52% last season. This season, they already scored 12 from corners. 19 overall from set pieces. 54% of their goals came from it.

Bayern last season had 43 corners and 21 FKs in BL, and scored 8 set pieces. [source]

So Bayern scored 13% of their corners. In BL, Wolfsburg has scored the most corners with 7. Overall in Europe top 5 leagues, top 6 are Atleti, Chelsea, Valencia, Wolfsburg, Empoli, RM. We are 79th. (from Squawka team ranking. the url doesn't want to appear as a url and using source tag gives me error.)

Thomas Mueller: Tougher to Win in Bayern Training Than It Is in the Bundesliga [source]

We have a very high level in training.

The defending team are part of Bayern and it is often more difficult to win against our training team than perhaps against a team in the Bundesliga.

(This is) precisely because the tactical level is identical because, of course, everyone has the same understanding.

Statistics are like miniskirts . What they reveal is tantalizing, but what they hide is crucial.

Just read that
Bayern actually received the highest share, $1.7M, paid by FIFA to different clubs. [source]

"Sport-Bild" has asked Ottmar Hitzfeld, Rudi Gutendorf, Otto Rehhagel, Armin Veh, Markus Weinzierl and „Sport Bild“-writer Raimund Hinko to make a list of the top 100 Bundesliga footballers of all times.

Here's the top 10:

1. Franz Beckenbauer
2. Gerd Müller
3. Lothar Matthäus
4. Uwe Seeler
5. Günther Netzer
6. Manuel Neuer
7. Wolfgang Overath
8. Philipp Lahm and Bastian Schweinsteiger
10. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge

Here's the complete list (click through the images):

Imo, its ridiculous that Beckenbauer is on one, okay, he was great, but Muller scored goals that just were not even possible. And then i did not even start talking about the amount of goals he scored..

From how they described to me Mueller, he was a 'poacher'... Who cares, he was a really good one at least, probably the best ever.

Yes, but Beckenbauer redefined the Libero-position... why does this argument remind me of the Ballon D'Or discussion this year? :-k

Shhh... let me indulge my fantasies :P

Plus, it would be 1-8-3 with Neuer 8) , and that offence could put 7 past a 1980s/90s Italian team. You'd win every game 9-5, what's wrong with that? :P
