I shout like crazy when a goal is scored and whine like crazy when an opportunity is missed when I'm watching live on my laptop.
I start singing 'Stern des Sudens' out of the blue watching entirely irrelevant videos. :D (Still gotta learn the complete song properly)
However, I am not sure if I should complain about the fans who don't shout/chant while watching live in Allianz. :?

The day I visit Allianz, I would blow the roof off! That is guaranteed! :D

That's for sure a great mindset, however once you're in the stadium and everyone on the seats around you is telling you to sit back down and be quiet, you will probably give in - most people would. I most certainly would too, if I was in the seated area.

By the way, "Stern des Südens" isn't in the repertoire of the Südkurve ;) 8)

It's a bit too "wordy" to sign too!

This, plus you may not even shout at all, out of embarrassment since nobody else is doing it. I think the most interactive chanting from the majority of the stadium comes when one side shouts "BAYERN" and the other side replies, and it becomes a bit competitive.

This, or just find out where the people that plan on chanting will be. I think that fans that want to sing and chant should have that right, and the people who don't shouldn't be hassled. Also, hassling people that want to sing and chant, which adds to the atmosphere, should never happen.

Interviewer: I have heard Thomas, that you like to talk unbelievably a lot.
Thomas: That is nothing new. You can hear that every Saturday and Wednesday on German TV.
Bastian: Every monday, tuesday, thursday and friday you can also hear it.
Thomas: Too true. I don't have much to say to that... despite the fact that I like to talk a lot. That's funny, eh? Heh heh.

I visited the allianz arena in Nov15,2010 for the game vs Nuremberg. And I was really annoyed by the fact that around me was full of quite ''fans'' ... I remember an FCB supporter standing up and started shouting (I don't know what) all of a sudden the majority of the other spectators around him looked at him like he was an alien!
The only support comes from behind the posts. At times I was ashamed cause the FCN fans were making much more noise then us
The only moment were all the fans shout all together is when a goal is scored and when the line up is being said.

The thing is, it's a football game. It's not a place where you have to show restraint and be inhibited. And yeah, it goes for us cold northerners as well (frankly I would think that Bavarians a fair bit more hotblooded than us Estonians who are stereotyped as slow and untemperamental people, especially throughout the former Soviet Union, but apparently this is not the case). Why would you even go to a football game if you're looking for the same experience that sitting home in front of a TV gives?

Thanks AssemFCB for that link. Some parts were not there.
I loved the chat. Man, Mueller is a witty guy.

Per: We have an important cup game on saturday, we want to get to next round of the FA Cup. Therefore the preparations for Bayern are not so advanced yet. I think from Sunday on we will prepare ourselves for Tuesday.
Thomas: That’s a short prepration.
Per: Yes, but I already know you by heart.
Thomas: *laughs* I don’t even know myself. =D>
