There is a very good (I think) article on Bayern's depth published by The Times and written by G. Marcotti; December 3rd is the date. Their site only allows subscription based access to most of their content. Has anyone read it? If so, would you mind commenting on it? Thks.

I'm not sure that we're ready to win CL. We lost the last 2 finals and it's time for a brake. Perhaps in Berlin on Olympiastadion.

Meanwhile...

Pierre Emile Hojbjerg, Vladimir Ranković, Patrick Weihrauch, Daniel Wein, Leopold Zingerle are going to Qatar on preparations with the first team guys. =D>

Fascinating statistical analysis from the consistently excellent rekordmeister.net. While it doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know, it does confirm many of our suspicions (we aren't good it games with a lot of running, we waste corners, we play best at the Saturday 3.30 kickoff and so on).

FC Bayern's youth academy is the 6th best in the world, according to a study by sportingintelligence.com, whereby they looked at the number of players produced which are playing in one of the top 5 European leagues.

Surprised to see Ajax so low down!
Jesus saves, but Kahn does it better ;)

The French league isn't in the top 5, now it's the Portuguese league.
