Related to this, there is a question on facebook and Schweini is winning with 254 votes. Second is Lahm with 35

Is there any chance Schweini will be made captain someday? With him on the pitch, the team's different. Though I'm of the view that Schweini should be made captain, it's hard to imagine that he'll ever become 'coz Lahm hasn't done anything wrong.
Also, he's just a year younger than Lahm and might never get the chance! :(

I hope he will be made captain some day, but I just can't imagine anyone stripping the captaincy from Lahm without reason. The fact that Lahm never misses a game is probably a huge factor in his favour

We've heard talks about how we need 9 more wins to win the treble, but here are some MUTU-compiled stats:

Minimum for treble: 3 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses
How?
- Dortmund lose all Bundesliga matches (including one against Bayern)
- Bayern lose all Bundesliga matches except the one against Dortmund (1 win)
- Bayern obtains 2 draws against Real Madrid and goes through on away goals rule (2 draws)
- Bayern wins against Dortmund in the DFB Pokal final (1 win)
- Bayern wins against Barcelona/Chelsea in CL final (1 win)

Maximum positive results for doing a 'Neverkusen' and narrowly miss out on all competitions: 6 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses
How?
- Dortmund win all Bundesliga matches, except against Bayern
- Bayern win all Bundesliga matches except their last, which they draw (4 wins, 1 draw)
- Bayern beats Real Madrid home and away (2 wins)
- Bayern loses to Dortmund in the DFB Pokal final
- Bayern loses to Barcelona/Chelsea in CL final

From Lahm to Schweinsteiger to Muller: Bayern's youth academy would draw envy even from La Masia

Interesting article that provides insight into FC Bayern's youth system.

The only problem is that it is being neglected nowadays. There's no serious push for promotion by FC Bayern II.

An unexploded World War II bomb was discovered beneath the Grunwalder Stadion, which I think is used by Bayern's reserves.
