Didn't they have a good run in EL last season? They are having a nice run this year too.

FCB should have come here and not in Qatar...

Actually, IMHO they should've gone to the Sunshine State...

Bayern should analyze doing the winter training camp in Brazil. I read an article a while back that said that since 1-7, German football became very admired in Brazil (things like calling an up and coming Brazilean midfielder "the Brazilean Schweinsteiger" and stuff like that). Would be a good marketing move even though Brazil will most likely belong to Barça anyway because of Neymar, Ronaldinho, etc. Plus, the climate would be ideal I would guess. Brazil must be a huge football market, since there everybody loves football.

Brazilians were admirers of German football long before... That's why you see Brazilian players with names like Muller and Matthaus nowadays.

Bebeto's son is named Mattheus. :P

And I've seen some interviews done around Rio by Italians before the game... they were amazed of how many admirers Germany had in Brazil, many even wished Germany success over their Brazil.

Bayern just had a US tour. I suppose right now they could be in Florida with Leverkusen and Schalke and taking advantage of the Chicharito effect. Still it's colder here than one might suppose.

Well, "just" is a bit exaggerated, seeing it was 18 months ago, right? And that tour back then was only a few days... We're in Qatar every year and honestly, compared to Qatar the US is a soccer benchmark... ;)
Weather, maybe, but south Florida is barely different from Qatar, if that were the reason they'd have to got to Thailand... :P

Well I lived in Florida and it's not super cold but it's not warm either.

Hot or warm? Daily temperature cca 18-20°C degrees is an ideal for playing matches and I guess it is the same for training sessions.

In Brazil is summer now. Morning temperatures are around 21°C, daily around 32°C, very hot. Humidity between 75% and 95%.

But they should think about South America, too. After all there exists a German community in the southern part of Brazil.
