I'm in the process of buying tickets to my first match at the Allianz, would you recommend buying tickets in the standing section or would it be better to go for one of the upper sections (325 or 329) for example?

If you can get standing ones, do that. Its awesome in the Sudkurve :) But is it even possible to still get them? Normally they are all sold out very quick.

Thanks, yes you can still get some off of viagogo but they're really expensive of course!

Does anyone have an idea where the arsenal fans will be sitting for the November 4th game? I want to buy tickets but it will be my first time and I dont want to buy them around them. I want to be in the fan section. What section are the "die hard" fans in? Like the section with all the flags? Where is the best place to go before the game to party with Bayern fans? Thank you.

Howdy! ;)

Soo... Before the game... http://suedkurve-muenchen.org/ is always a good address... If you don't understand German, they mainly meet up close to a streetwork bus about 4-5 hours before the games... As for Cl-games: the city is usually packed with fans of both clubs all day... If you're looking for a place to have a good lunch (and a good draft :P ) for a reasonable price I would recommend the Augustiner Bräustuben, there's usually many fans there on gamedays as well...

the die hard fans are always standing in Südkurve, which is in the South, in the lowest tier... Mainly blocks 112 and 113, but 109-117 is fine as it's very hard to get tickets there... Cause die-hard fans never sell... ;)

Guest fans are usuall in 343 - 347 IIRC...

OOOhhh :D
Don't worry, no streetwalkers :P

I actually looked it up in a dictionary since I was unsure, but they had it, so I thought you guys have that same word too? It's kind of social work with juveniles, happening in the streets... So don't be scared, I'm not sending you to weird places... :D

How long will you be here? First time in Germany?

I still dont really understand? Is there not an area people go to before games to hang out and drink. We call it tailgating.

No. I lived in Wurzburg, my mom is from Augsburg. I have been to Munich several times, but this will be my first time to a game.

You did? Awesome! I live about 15 miles away from Würzburg!

No, no real tailgating here... That area where the bus is parked is a place where they have a few beers and warm up so it's probably the closest to what you had in mind... Also, these are the die-hard fans you were referring to... If you want something else, I don't really have any great tips for you... Usually the city is packed with Bayern fans but not just in one place... Marienplatz would be a good home base I guess...

Well, there's an esplanade leading to the stadium, and if you look at the arena from where it starts and turn 180 degrees it will be located at about 11 o'clock, about 300 yards I'd say... There's a picture here that might help you a little...
