I'm worried what role Muller will play this year.. I'm 100% sure Ancelotti will favour Tolisso over him
I know it's football, I want the best starting 11 and I think Muller is a core player for Bayern and still has so much football left

BTW; I would bench Vidal all day if everyone is fit: Muller-Thiago-Javi (If we play 3 man midfield)
May Bayern rule the world again!

We might expect to see an interesting transition in the definition of a balanced midfield, from the engine-regista-playmaker trio to just fielding three complete midfielders in Vidal, Thiago and Tolisso. I'm looking forward to see how it'll work.

I don't know how Bayern couldn't be better than last season.

The loss of Lahm is big but there is Kimmich. And the loss of Alonso is to bless.

Our only issue is the LW spot. Ribéry is great but can't play 90min in the big big game anymore and Coman isn't good enough to be a starter in Bayern, same for Gnabry even if I have way more trust in the german.
For good football : Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Vidal (Tolisso), Thiago (Rudy) - Robben, Müller (James), James (Ribéry) - Lewandowski

For boring football : 4-3-3

We know you do - yet Coman is still considered a top talent by most everybody while no one who played CL before wants Gnabry
Someone, fire that Italian **** already! I don't care who, I don't care how much it costs or who'll be the next coach - just make sure he's gone and he stays gone!!!

Because apparently Coman "has no football brain" but Gnabry has suddenly become an intelligent footballer

Smarter in what? Looks? Definitely not soccer, definitely not IQ wise and most definitely of all not when he has wifi or when someone is holding a mic in his face...

Seriously?
Have you ever, EVER watched Gnabry play?
In what regard could you possibly consider him to be smarter?

With our current players This seems to bee the best line up imo. Robben/Gnabry for one of the forwards, Tolisso/Sanches/Rudy for Vidal or Thiago, Thiago for Ribery. Granted this would only leave us with Süle on the bench for cb but I never said it was ideal. I think a formation like this could work because it allows to spread width with wingbacks. The biggest question of Kimmich is his defensive ability, this allows him some more leeway on that front as well as Alaba (we know he likes to get forward) Ribery also can't play every game anymore but perhaps if one of Rudy, Tolisso, Sanches steps up Thiago can be pushed forward or Müller can drop deeper with Robben playing alongside Lewa.

It's amazing how easily Robben gets benched every year in people's predicted lineups despite being one of our best performers every season.

One of? Without Robben we might as well field 11 CBs to keep a clean sheet at all costs...
