Well that's not what I saw last season. I saw some privilege for one or two players.
Bayern 3-3-3-1 build-up under Heynckes :
Neuer - Boateng Hummels Thiago - Kimmich Vidal Alaba - Robben Müller James - Lewandowski
Neuer- Boateng Vidal Hummels- Kimmich Martinez Alaba- Robben James Ribéry- Lewandowski

In Carlo's defense, Lahm and Alonso were retiring so he definitely had felt the pressure to play them more than he should have...

Lol. Thiago is not a 10! He is a deep orchestrator.

You got a specific problem with our best player from last season?
She’s beauty, she’s grace, if u tell her she only watches football for the attractive players she’ll punch u in the face.

Yes he was of the worst against real, that is why i would prefer a Javi protecting the defensive line and tolisso and vidal covering spaces in the middle. At least against strong opposition.

Muller played very well the second half of last season*, so all this talk of "needing to play better" and "earn his starter spot" doesn't make a tremendous deal of sense. He wasn't a guaranteed starter last season and the team suffered a lot in big games from it.

*At least when he wasn't played as a lone striker, a position that he's never been good at, and it's entirely the board's fault for not finding a back up striker last summer. In 2012/13, we had three different 9s, now we only have one.

That's the fault of Ancelotti because he forced Thiago out of his best position by playing Alonso.

Not this shit again...

Thanks for letting me know you're one of those. Thought we got rid of them somewhere last season. But alas, some still remain :coffee:

We do need a backup CF. Müller looks clueless if he's the sole Striker. He is best when he plays behind a proper CF. When Lewandowski was unavailable we looked pedestrian in attack. Must get a backup CF.

I don't know who Bayern should be going after though. Maybe Dost of Sporting Lisbon? The chances of the Dutch making it to the WC are slim so he won't be complaining about lack of regular playing time to make a case for the Netherlands national team at the WC.

Not happening... no reason for him to come to Bayern when he's tearing it up in Portugal. If he doesn't stay there, he's good enough to secure a starting position with a team elsewhere, maybe in England.

With out a back up CF the transfer window would be a failure even with james.
