The season is not over yet, but I think it is not too early to make an initial assessment. As far as I'm concerned, Bayern had a good season overall, but nevertheless, a season of transition. Bad luck combined with aging and lack of depth in the this squad are for me the causes of the recent negative results. I still think Ancelotti is the man of the situation but at the the end of the day, coaches do not have such a huge impact on results, it is the great players who win you matches, and that's why the Board must absolutely succeed in this transfer window, I have the hope that the philosophy that animates the bosses is to compete for all major trophies every year, including the Champions League, while keeping the identity of the club of course.

If we win the Bundesliga, it wouldn't be a disaster. As long as it's not a disaster, benefit of the doubt for any coach in his first season.

Bayern haven't won in 5 consecutive games for the first time in 17 years. Historic.

Couldn't be worse than 2012. No season was. Not even 2011.

It's ironic how the Knockout tournaments specialist, and the league non-specialist, has done absolutely the opposite with us this season :|

And it's the league which cost him. Too little rotation.

I have mixed feelings about this season. Overall disappointed but there were some very good moments. We need to make sure they become more regular.

What do you mean it's not over? Just because we have to kick a ball around for not more than 90 minutes in a half-assed attempt to retain our lead on top of the Bundesliga table doesn't mean it's not over. There's nothing to look forward to anymore, so it's over. Or will you actually be cheering when we mathematically with the competition that our coach admitted we'd win without taking our hands out of our pockets? I won't. We've failed to meet our season expectations even if we win our few remaining matches.

Possibly the best German player of all time. Nothing to look forward to his retirement in any case. He will leave an empty sadness in our hearts.

Yup, season over for me.
Only watching the game where we win the BL and the last game of the season now.
Have to see Lahm in a Bayern shirt for the last time. :(
