one thing for sure.... Javi Martinez has to play solely in midfield unless there is an emergency.
Now we are going to have Sule as well in the mix... and I don't think that we will line up with a 3 men defensive line

I am really hoping Carlo goes with a traditional 433 with Martinez as the "sitter" in the midfield, I think his defensive instincts are to wasted as a CB and we can be a lot more aggressive like RM found out with putting Casemiro behind Kroos and Modric. Thiago and Vidal would also be freed up a lot more to offer support....

I am now falling in love with the idea of getting Keita [-o<

I really like Keita, but wouldn't Forsberg be the better choice among RBL players? Besides, I frankly think we should stay clear of BVB and RBL players for a while. BuLi needs to heal and regenerate, cause it was ABSOLUTE sh!t this season. Neverkusen, Gladbach, Wolfsburg and Schalke are pretty much done as topish teams, we need BVB and RBL to stay strong so we have something to look for in the league.

On the winger thing; I think our front three should be (in order of precedence);

Alexis-Lewy-Müller
Coman-Alexis-Robben

But, if we can successfully loan Coman to Hoffenheim, then I would be fine with

Alexis-Lewy-Müller
Ribery-Alexis-Robben

A loan for Coman would protect him from Carlo's negligence.

Taking Forsberg and Keita at once would be too much... Forsberg looks like an assist machine, wouldn't be a bad idea for Ribery's successor.

He is. I haven't watched much of Leipzig though, so I don't understand their 4222 system and the players' roles within it. Is Forsberg a winger or a creative CM? What does that 4222 mean?

Left-sided trequartista would be the best way to put it, I think. He does a lot of work with his movement.

So Forsberg is basically a KDB or James?

Role-wise yes, I guess you can put it that way. I wouldn't put James and De Bruyne in the same profile though. He's kinda between Brandt and De Bruyne in terms of developed skill and delivery.

Erm... You guys DO know that Leipzig players all have contracts and they are in no need to sell whatsoever? Keita is about as realistic as Verratti - at least this summer...

We could give them Sanches or someone in exchange to convince them... I'm for it.

True. We don't even respect winning a Bundesliga title anymore.

It's arrogant to think RedBull will sell us anyone of their starting 11. Let alone think any of their stars will want to go to us, while they are on a team mission in BuLi and now UCL, and have a coach who plays them and develops them.

Forget RB players, none will leave unless it's a bencher.
