I agree for the most part but grabbing Muellers throat, pushing Lahm down are going too far, the tymo thing is ok to pump your teammates up.

Couldn't we just sell him.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not impressed by his latest club performances, but you know, "cutting someone up" is sooo....1251 AD 8)

In this case I would be worried about who would partner Boateng. Probably Badstuber

I don't think our board will go into next season with Badstuber - Boateng and DvB + Breno for backup, I think they finally learned their lesson.

[Poll] Gustavo - Schweini or Vidal - Schweini ?

Postby raz25 » Fri Jun 10, 2011 3:10 pm

So, would you prefer this?

Rafinha------New CB (Alex, Hangeland, Friedrich, etc) --------- Boateng ---------Lahm

--------------------------Gustavo-------------------Schweini

Or this?

Rafinha----------Boateng-------------Gustavo--------Lahm

--------------------Vidal-----------Schweini

Each one looks great, at least on paper. I prefer the first because we finally have CBs playing as CBs, FBs playing as FBs and because there's a decent chance to land Vidal for free next season. The problem is that we'll have 4 new players in the defense and the 5th one playing on the opposite flank, it will definitely take some time to get to its full potential, but you can't have it all. Your turn.

He played a few games as LB under Magath in his last season at Schalke....
If I'm not mistaken one of them was against us, the return match, the important one that we won 2-1....

hmmm but i don't see it a good idea luis gustavo has a great potential when he plays as DMF... and he's average when he plays as CB or LB...

He actually impressed me as a CB but he's even better at DM.

I think he is probably capable of playing on the left side, but I'm not too sure. It would be cool if he could, so that in big games we could switch Lahm's side if necessary to have him cover the "danger" player. It's also possible if we get Boateng, but it would mean using one of our backup CBs.
