idk if anyone mentioned him but Benoit Tremoulinas of Bordeaux is pretty good.

24 years old.
Left Back

He is currently among the top assists providers in the league primarily due to his deadly crosses and his exceptional ability to get forward

Edit : i thought this was the Generic Transfer thread

+1 for Element's formation for next year (with Schweini as captain I suppose).

We'll need 3 top players + keep Ribery, but it would be a dream team :)
Plus the fact that the average players age would be pretty low, so it would be a team that can play together for the next 2-3 years and built some chemistry between them :)

My first real post (not including the introduction thread) on this forum was about him :D A friend of mine is a huge Girondins fan and says Tremoulinas is great. He wouldnt be my first choice LB but as far as realistic options go hes up there with the better ones.

I thought that until I saw the second goal of Lyon against Bordeaux

No thanks, even Contento can defend better.

Why do you judge someone only from one mistake ?
Thats probably the only match u have seen Tremoulinas play.

Remember when Robben missed with no GK vs Bremen ??
If u judge him by that shot you would say he is the worst player ever.
Right ?

1. You can't make that type of mistake. Have you seen Badstuber or Lahm doing something like that? Also, I've seen about 6 or 8 matches of Bordeaux.
2. I didn't say that. I said that even Contento can defend better.
3. He's not good enough for Bayern IMO.
4. Robben has never been a good finisher.

Most of us here seem to think we'll be going with a 4-2-3-1 next season. I think that if Ribery leaves, we won't be getting a replacement and we'll be using this midfield:

--------------MVB------------Schweini----------
-Robben-------------Kroos--------------Muller-

Of course, there's a possibility (more like hope) that Tymo impresses LVG so much all of a sudden that he replaces MVB. Then we have Pranjic, Altintop, and such on the bench.

Think about it though. It's near perfect for total football. Schweini can play Robben's, Kroos', and Muller's positions. Muller and Robben can play all 3 positions up front. Kroos can play Muller's position. Muller can even play as striker (Olic/Gomez).

Of course, I'd prefer this with Ribery instead of Muller... but in case Ribery leaves I think this is the most realistic, because we can fit in both Kroos and Muller this way.

Then considering our good performance in Europe, it's not realistic to assume we will be spending a lot this season. Olic is good enough as our forward. We'll probably still get someone in defence, hopefully Mexes, who will pair with Badstuber in CD. Lahm will probably remain as a RB, and then we will get either a full-back or a GK. It's either keep Butt and get a new world-class LB, or keep Contento and get a new world-class GK. I don't know which one I prefer right now. Contento keeps impressing me more and more.

------------------------------Adler----------------------------
-Lahm--------Mexes---------------Badstuber----Contento
---------------MVB/Tymo----------Schweini----------------
--Robben------------------Kroos-------------------Muller---
---------------------Olic/Gomez/Klose----------------------

And in case Ribery remains, we'll hopefully loan Muller, or at least we'll use him as a sub. But considering that we have LVG:

----------------------------Adler--------------------------------
-Lahm---------Mexes-------------Badstuber------Contento-
---------------MVB/Tymo----------Schweini------------------
--Robben------------------Kroos--------------------Ribery----
----------------------------Muller-------------------------------

Which could potentially work as well^^ Muller played well as striker in the past, and he did well in that position against Hannover. Hopefully he will improve in that position.

But as we all know, Nerlinger has 99% ruled out a GK transfer this summer. While I have decided to not believe this kind of stuff anymore, there's always the possibility that it's true that we will be keeping Butt. In which case:

------------------------------Butt-----------------------------------
-Lahm------------Mexes-----------Badstuber---------Adriano--
----------------MVB/Tymo----------Schweini--------------------
--Robben-------------------Kroos-----------------Ribery/Muller-
-------------------Gomez/Klose/Olic/Muller---------------------

And then you have the likes of DVB, Micho, Pranjic, Altintop, whatever strikers we are not using, whichever of MVB/Tymo we are not using, etc. on the bench

I can see good things happening (without trusting to luck) if we go with either of these formations next season. And the good thing is, in all formations I'm only suggesting 3 new players (1 free, 1 near-free and very likely to happen [Mexes], and 1 which will be a bit expensive but worth it).

WE are going to use the 4-2-3-1 because we use it now with Muller as CAM

Even though i am sure that we are going to keep Ribery

If He leaves , We Should Get A Replacement on the Left (like Hazard , Marin , Gervinho,Van Persie,Van Der Vaart , or Even Zhirkov)

But actually it is not bad at all if we paly like you have just said

However , in that Case we Must Sign A TOP LB/RB , A TOP CB and A TOP GK for next season

While if we Keep Ribery , we would only need A TOP RB/LB , the other s would be Thankful but not Desperately Needed Additions

I would prefer if we got get someone like Hazard or Marin as well, but I made that post to try and see what is likely for next season. We know that we won't be spending a lot, and we know that Muller will probably find his way in the starting XI. So I tried to see the best possible way to fit all those players in.

For me, the ideal solution would be to get Adler and Mexes, possibly a top LB (although like I said I'm impressed by Contento), keep Ribery, maybe sign a new world-class finisher (highly unlikely), and loan off Muller and Breno.

IF Ribery leaves , and WE dont Get A Replacement LM

We Should sign Zhirkov , Mexes and Rene Adler

FCBayernMunchen wrote:nd loan off Muller

Huge mistake

because he is versatile and can be the sub for all offensive positions

True. But we would have Pranjic, Robben, Kroos, Ribery, Tymo, Schweini, MVB, Olic, Gomez, Klose... I think we would have enough players for subs. I'd prefer Muller to keep playing frequently (90 mins a week if possible) at some other club so that his development continues.

Man just watching Kroos vs Hungary... this guys is gonna give so many assists and nice through passes to Ribery and Robben next season.
If we et Dzeko that would complete the puzzle.
