Here you go. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere else and not even the Bayern site mentioned it, so I don't know. The page is usually reliable for news though. [source]

It's a fake. Maccabi Haifa play in green, and it's quite unlikely that we would beat them 11-0 as they're a decent team. That photo in the URL is almost definitely taken from the friendly against the Paulaner XI.

According to this Wikipedia page, Bayern are due to play Trentino XI tomorrow at 18:30. However, this cannot be found on the official calendar. Does anyone know anything about it please? Will it take place or not?

EDIT: just sent an email to a bunch of people working at Bayern, let's see if they reply.

The answer I received is that we're not playing Trentino XI. Thus, I've removed the match from our fixtures calendar.

What are the dates Bayern have friendlies in the winter pause? Also, are they usually in Munich? I don't remember ever watching a friendly in the winter pause. :?

My step dad will visit me in Munich between 27.12 - 17.01 and would be really cool to take him to a game. :D

There are no details yet. [source]
If there were, you'd be sure to find them in our fixtures page.

To the best of knowledge, friendlies are usually played out at "the winter camp". Or if the team has plans to visit some other country.
So I wouldn't get my hopes up for friendlies in Allianz during winter.
Also, the first game wouldn't be a home game. It'd be Gladbach away. So, even that wouldn't be possible, I guess.
Bad luck, Tedesco.

I found in the wiki the friendlies from last year.

Friendlies.png

There's some hope in there. :P

Two games were in Germany, we could go there and just do a normal visit from the Arena.
Also in Basel would be fine. Qatar, no way.

**edit: This year there's also the FIFA Club World Cup in December, so maybe they'll not do as many friendlies. Crap. :(

Bayern Munich coming to the USA? [-o<
Bayern Munich is looking to make inroads in America, and that involves a couple different initiatives, sources at Bayern tell me. One is the establishment of a Bayern office in New York City that’s soon to open, and another is the likely participation of Bayern in the MLS All-Star Game next year. That game would be in Portland, Ore., the U.S. home of Adidas, which sponsors Bayern and MLS.

What does it mean, though? I don't understand how they're going to be involved...

Just like the way EPL teams and La Liga teams play MLS teams, Bayern could be involved in that competition also. Recently thay had a Guiness World Tournament where teams like Juve, Everton, RM, La Galaxy, Inter, Chelsea, and Valencia all played each other in the US. Bayern could be involved in something like that.
