Was just about to post this, apparently El Khateeb, Ahly's anwer to Gerd Muller, intervened and made sure this went through. They just won their seventh African CL and will be heading to Japan for the World Cup in a few weeks.

I cant wait for this match, i realize that Bayern played them a year ago but this will be more than a friendly in my opinion. Hopfefully they will air this match on TV, Pep will be on the opposite touchline to Messi and the new and improved Bayern may have a chance to show Europe, no the world that they are the best.

I'm pretty sure the Qatari Army wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight.

July 24th is probably too early in the season to take conclusions and they will probably miss some important players because of the Confederations Cup

The Audi Cup will feature AC Milan, City and Sao Paolo this year.

With Bayern vs. Barcelona on the 27th of July, it's worth considering a 6-day trip..
