Our defense now is:

Contento (RB) - Tymo - Boateng - Alaba (LB)

Actually the more i see Tymo at CB it makes sense, he was not solid with Badstuber or with Van Buyten cause hes not a natural CB but with a natural CB like Boateng next to him, Tymo's leadership and experience and positional awareness will shine through. I think Tymo-Boateng can work with Gustavo at CDM, it could work really really well.

Well -- with it being 2-0 I guess we can learn from this game.

Well, it seems that Toni's goal 2.5 years ago is the only one Barca conceded in Allianz in the last 5-6 years :(
(If I remember correctly we've lost 0-1 and 0-3 in the last friendlies we played in Allianz).

I hope that will change in the last minutes.

I would prefer either Tymo or Gustavo next to Boateng over Badstuber...

Some players should stay in bench for a long long time. Maybe it's the lack of work, but I don't like how much space we give, the entire team is too separated and there are gaps everywhere now (except in the wings).

Boateng surprised me, I never saw him as a huge improvement =D>

Overall our new signings have faired well -- except maybe Petersen was too intimidated, but Heynckes mixed things up too much. It was obvious that he wanted to get everyone fit and some playing time against a tough team. I think he wanted to get something out of the game by sending on our better players in the second half, but they didn't have enough time to settle together and a few were out of position. Overall, not a bad game considering preseason, we faired better than that Liga! Total cup.

Sht, i really wanted to win this game.

Anyway i had good impresions for the new players: Usami was invible in the first 35 min ,even distracted, but after that he made some nice moves and passes, he has the talent to be a awesome Robbery back up. Boateng was amazing, and its clearly that he isnt fit yet, im really happy that we have a Top CB now.To finish Gustavo was great today, honestly i didnt trough he was that good.

I think that our aditions in the near future should be another CB and a RB bc we dont have a back up for Rafa.

It was good that everyone played except for Breno. What I wanted to see is moooar movement off the ball which unfortunately is as much as it was last season. Maybe it's too early but I hoped it would have improved somewhat. Hate to see a player with the ball at his feet and the other players are too far away to pass to or covered by the opponents' players and the only other option is to pass backwards. The team needs to be more compact.

I just don't know how we will beat them with getting Alexis Sanchez and possibly fabregas. They are just strengthening an already strong team.
