Audi Cup 2011

Postby MUTU » Wed Mar 23, 2011 6:36 pm

On 26th and 27th July 2011, there will be an Audi Cup 2011 hosted once again at the Allianz Arena.

The teams invited are Barcelona, AC Milan and Internacional.

The last Audi Cup was held in 2009 where Bayern won 4-1 against AC Milan (with 2 goals from a previously-unknown Thomas Mueller) and then beat Manchester United on penalties. Boca Juniors won 3rd place after beating AC Milan on penalties.

Madrid, Chelsea or even ManU again. Still Barca is great, I just said that because they're the best, but now that I remember, we have never lost against them at home (?).

Thats correct for official matches. But on Franz Beckenbauer or on this Audi Cup 2-3 years ago we lost against them 0:1 and I think the goalscorer was Leo Messi. :|

That was 2007. In 2006 we also had lost to Barca 4-0 in Spain during Gamper Trophy (friendly match):
