Same division like now. Podbrezová is top league's team. :)

Spartak Trnava's stadium under construction is almost done. Workers has started changing the lawn and reconstruction of West Stand. Stadium will be open in august 2015.
This stadium will be probably new slovakian national football stadium.

AS Trenčín become new slovakian football champion. First time in their history.
They also reach slovakian double.

They have dutch owner Tschen La Ling ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tschen_La_Ling ), he is buisnessman and own Trenčín couple of years. His transfer policy consist of loans players from dutch league (youth teams or eredivisie).
I also heard that his players are pay from personal agencies and club together. Player come to Trenčín, play some games, show himself and then go back or transfer to bigger team. I dont know if it is bad or good, but it isn't quite good for AS Trenčín's game strategy.

So, 2014/15 season is over. Results:
1st AS Trenčín (CHL)
2nd MŠK Žilina (CHL)
3rd ŠK Slovan Bratislava (EL)
4th Spartak Trnava (EL)
5th FK Senica
6th MFK Košice
7th MFK Ružomberok
8th DAC Dunajská Streda
9th Spartak Myjava
10th Vion Zlaté Moravce
11th Šport Podbrezová
12th Dukla Banská Bystrica (down to 2nd league)

But there is another departure from 1st league - MFK Košice. Slovakian football association did not give them license because of debts. So for season 2015/16 slovakian's Fortuna liga will have two promotions, probably MFK Zemplín Michalovce and FK Skalica (but they dont comply 1st league's stadium terms).

Kosice out!! they are an old team right? If I am not mistaken they wear orange...I remember something from a subbuteo team:-)
It is sad to hear such news even if it is your rival tm... Parma is risking going down to serie D. Not long ago it was Rangers. Even Fiorentina and Napoli had to start anew... :|

You probably meant this:
Image

After 1989 and fall of communism, one rich and maffioso style businessman bought them and trasfered their colours and team badge from yellow - blue to orange - black. They became 2 times slovakian champions and then - bankrupt because of the maffioso owner.
Around 2005 their came back to their former colours and bagde and name.
But there is another reason with bad financial situation - east of Slovakia is poor and Košice are capital of east so, there are no big sponsors, only big sponsor is US Steel but they give money to ice hockey.

23th of june 2000 died Peter Dubovský, one of the biggest slovakian football talent, only Czech or Slovak who played in Real Madrid.
He was brilliant freekicker, dribbler and skilled type of player. Number 10 8)
