A little surprising to me given how poorly he did last time he coached in Italy. Also, I wonder if he can really convince Cavani to stay.

& Walter Mazzari left Napoli to replace Stramacconi at Inter.
This Waltzer of coaches in the serie A reflects the lack of money the clubs have; therefore instead of the excitement those big transfers used to generate the ita clubs are changing the coaches!

I was hoping we'd see Benitez in the Bundesliga. Guess not. Stramaccioni is not that bad of a coach though, he'd do well with a mid-table BuLi team, I think.
Super Bayern! Super Bayern! Hey! Hey!

he made an appeal so... we all know the ending...
italian courts are the university of mafia...
Does anyone remembers how they (FIGC) dealt with Juve? At first they demoted them to serie C and had to start the campaign with negative points, after the 1st appeal they were re instated in the serie b with -30 pts. In the second appeal the the ban was reduced to -19 and finally after a third appeal they ended with just -9 pts...

The Italian police apparently started a gigantic operation investigating tax fraud in the Italian league.

Policemen searched club offices of AC Milan, Juventus and SSC Neapel. There are apparently 41 clubs involved in this scandal which is basically the entire Serie A + B...
