Croatian reality. This is nothing surprising, laws are written, but in the end nobody fulfills his duty. That guy is Hajduk fan from my hometown Osijek, not Split. 22 years old, wanted to send message and he sent it, now he is in jail waiting for trial. Security is silly, they couldn't prevent fans from smuggling hundreds of flares.
The match was full of insults, racial, nationalistic, rwgional, etc.
Social daily tragedy in complete mess named Coatia.

Do they have political demands or do they only let off steam?

Yes, they have. They want from the state to respect its own laws about sport that they wrote and voted for. CFF hasn't been respecting the law for the last 2-3 years therefore these fans and hools are doing this and the well-known scenario from Euro last year. It's all about policy, we are small country and society, everyone knows what's been going on for the last 20-25 years yet absolutely nothing has changed or if it has changed or is changing, it is changing only on worse.
Hajduk fans are frustrated because they can't even feel the smell and the taste of Croatian championship for the last 12 years. The club is complete mess, they've been living on the old fame and name, they can't produce and sell a single talent for 5 mil €. Who wouldn't be frustrated and live in the past. Dalmatians are famous when it comes to glorify themselves but reality is brutal since you can't live in the past.

With one matchday left to be played, HNK Rijeka have won their first historic title in HNL thereby ending 11-year-long Dinamo Zagreb domination in Croatian football! Congratulations to them! Incredible season... My team ended 4th which is something really great after so many years of agony and frustrations, keep our head alive in the 1st division. All in all, Rijeka is the 4th team that have won the league since the Croatian independence. Dinamo, Hajduk and NK Zagreb are the only three teams while Zagreb won only once in the sensational season 2001/2002.

As an interesting fact, Rijeka is currently building their new stadium which kinda reminds me of AA.

Croatia want Carlo Ancelotti if they make it to Russia 2018

If this happens, Bayern would not need to pay Ancelotti his salary anymore. The second leg is on 12th November so Bayern would easily save up some €8m.

Just a nonsense. Ancefloppi as a first Croatian head coach... No, thank you.

Davor Šuker denied this media rumor. He said that this rumor is pointed against the CFF.
