Villa and Henry in their prime? Really?
Pique was Pep's transfer and he came almost for free
Xavi had it done with Bayern in summer 2008 but Pep begged him to stay in Barcelona
Iniesta was nobody in 2008

Barcelona finished 3rd and 18 points behind Real Madrid in La Liga the year before Guardiola arrived.

So regardless of how good coach I am ( 8) ) I doubt I would've been able to turn a trophyless team into a team than won every title the year after ( 6/6 )

Pep is a genius coach.
But I'm still not getting on the City hype train until I see the CL Semi Finals first.

Henry Ok I made a lapsus there but yes Villa was a great player back then...
There was Pedro too doing wonders for them... I remember all those classicos as if it was yest...

Who promoted Pedro and Busquets from the 3rd league straight into the first team? :coffee:

I agree

I was just saying that City is in some serious good form at the moment.

A carbon copy of Bayern under Pep...
It has to be said that at one point Stoke came back strongly into the match scoring twice to make the score 3-2

If Mourinho wins it or comes in as runner-up with that crap he played yesterday, I'm asking for my TV Subscription money back.

I had lost a lot of faith and aura in Guardiola, but just thinking about how people hate him for playing attacking football and say nothing about these coaches who only play counter attack is just daunting.

Mou is a coach I hate... and not Guardiola.
The former is the anti football...
I criticize Pep only cause he is regarded as a god and he is not... and cause of his decisions which ruined bayern

Yeah. Furthermore, Pep is a dogmatic. A crazy person. Still enjoyed the attacking football when he was here, but wish he had been less.dogmatic.

Well in SA the most basic package already includes Spanish, British, Italian and German leagues via Satellite with very good quality. $40 bucks a month and you get a sort of all-you-can watch package. So no complaints here.

And to think some fools over here wanted him at Bayern.

And yet when people see a mirror image of him(James)* at Bayern, they're demanding that he start.

Also Ozil's "decline" began the moment he joined Arsenal and disappears the moment that he puts on a Germany shirt. It's almost like Arsene Wenger is a terrible manager who doesn't understand how his players should play.

*James and Ozil are exceptionally similar players in all manners, right down to both being left footed and both being fairly tall yet poor in the air.

Oezil is one of the best players for sure but only when he's motivated

I think he's an exceptional player and one of my all time favourites, but he is showing no respect for the club he plays for. Could've been a legend if football were one of his priorities.

He's still pretty good when he plays for Germany, but you just can't switch from I don't give a sh!t to world class mode in 1 week

Relegation hasnt treated us well we spent 50 million to get worse its so early in the season but we dont look like getting play offs unless we improve drastically.
