It couldn't have been as dull as Spurs vs Liverpool last weekend. For two top teams that game should have had more goals....

Only saw highlights but that looked a decent game if you want to be bored to tears watch wba 0-0 boro but i wouldnt recommend it. We were happy with a point and a pulis team is every game.

They were chances but the quality of finishing and play in the final their was so cringe worthy it kinda ruined what potentially could have been a more thrilling match. But you are probably right that West Brom vs Boro was less interesting.

I believe that Leicester will be decent side this year too...

Malta winger Luke Gambin has turned down a move to Leyton Orient after his current club, Barnet FC, had agreed a fee upwards of £100,000 with their League Two rivals.
Barnet had placed Gambin on the transfer list after he rejected their offer to sign a new contract as his existing deal runs out at the end of the season.
The 23-year-old confirmed that he had decided against joining Leyton Orient but would not elaborate further.

Ruthless from Pep, the truth absolutely hurts - "You hear that, you English bastards? Your best keeper is only good enough for Torino!". Amazing slap in the face on the English footballing crowd, they needed that.

I was watching Yorkshire CCC collapse in the semi final (again). Not sure what was worse tbh. My sporting weekend went steadily downhill after Friday night.

Makes you wonder why Pep stuck with Valdes for so long.

Aston Villa has recently bought Jonathan Kodjia from Bristol City for a reported fee of 17.5m€. Kodjia has scored 17 goals in 49 matches for Bristol. And no, he's not 19 or 20 yo as you'd expect, he's 26.

Anyway, the more interesting thing to point out would be how much money Aston Villa has spent this summer. 58m€. And they're not in EPL, but in the Championship.

58m. That's more than Real Madrid, Valencia, Schalke or AC Milan. And, at this rate, they're one transfer away from spending more than Bayern too. Aston freaking Villa. Unbelievable.

It's incredible what's happening in England moneywise. And I used to think RBL were going mad at it last year. But compared to these? Sheesh
