But even if England's millionaire stars manage to eke out a victory against Malta, there might not be many people around to watch it.
With anger at the national team still simmering, many England fans have called on fellow supporters to boycott Wembley as a sign of protest at the team's inept quarterfinal exit. [source]

Before moving to Italy... but they refused him... he was under investigation for doping in Spain... that's not exactly "dreaming" to play for City.

He didn't say he dreamt of being here in terms of playing/managing us, he was referring to England in general.

The difference between him and Pellegrini is really night and day, so excited to see us under him playing with passion and hunger again!

Well if he achieves close to what he achieved at Bayern, I'll be a very happy man.

He took over a treble winning side here mate. IMO, it is a big question mark wether he'll manage to replicate his success at your club, not a given at all. But the squad overhaul will definitively help.

It's certainly a different challenge and definitely greater. The best way to describe his arrival would be swapping out a black and white TV (Pellegrini) for a coloured one. It's hard not to be impressed by his passion, hunger and desire to learn. We've lacked that fighting spirit for a while. The Champions League semi-final was a prime example where our players didn't fight and yours did, despite defeat. I'm just looking forward to the journey with Pep over the next 3 years!

Manchester City will improve and Guardiola will get a lot of the credit; however, the biggest reason will be the good signings that they've made.

Well then Guardiola should get credit if that's the case. We've got Gundogan, Nolito and Zinchenko for dirt cheap compared to the real-world market values. Sane, Stones and Peres should follow while I'm still hoping Kroos will join!
