With LvG sacking, Mourinho taking over United and Pep Shitty, the EPL is set to turn into an absolute circus next season... Good for their TV ratings...

It's going to be a mad season. Pep, Mourinho, Conte, Poch, Raneri etc. We need to be more competitive in Europe and I think next season you'll see that. And, unlike the Bundesliga, our league will be competitive again.

Also, it's City!

No offense intended, but the EPL will most likely do really really bad in Europe next season. This season you were lucky to have an unbelievable easy path to the semis and also to catch Juve and Gladbach both on severe downturns in form. Any other season you wouldn't have made it past the last 8. Juve would have easily picked you apart had they played on the same level they displayed against us (which corresponded to a top 4 team) and Gladbach would also probably beat you had they faced you when Schubert had already taken hold. Also PSG missing a bunch of players and, on top of that, deciding to throw Aurier in after months of team exclusion.... unbelievable luck you had...

The rest of the EPL (of course) absolutely sucked in Europe, except Liverpool.

Next season is going to be even worse. Leicester will get crushed by any medium to big European club they face, Tottenham and Arsenal are jokes, and Pep is going to have a seriously difficult job at putting together a possession team out of the awful squad you have (even if he buys himself a whole new X11, which is very likely, he will have to teach them to play juego de posición from scratch). Pep's system(s) depends a lot on players understanding each other to perfection, a completely revamped squad won't achieve that so fast and your current squad is just not up for it, so expect at least 2 seasons of transition.

Top seeds are going to be a bitch for you. Leicester (a team I'll equipped for this level of competition) will have the "best draw", but can still face Real, Atlético or Dortmund, all of which would destroy them. The rest of the EPL representatives stand to face Barça, Bayern, PSG (no clue how you got past them btw...).

If United, Liverpool or Chelski had qualified, at least the EPL would have some people with actual experience in international competitions, plus more advanced projects (except United, but Mourinho can set up a bus for parking pretty easily).

Did you really have to do the grand ol' Bundesliga is a one team league thing? It's getting so boring... :coffee:

Anyway, EPL will be a madhouse next season. Not only because of all the big name coaches, and ridiculous amounts of money, but also because of the crazy weird promoted teams (and promoted teams that stayed up)....Think it'll be a fascinating relegation battle (please please please finally relegate Sunderland [-o< )
She’s beauty, she’s grace, if u tell her she only watches football for the attractive players she’ll punch u in the face.

I'm just stating that the English league is the most competitive and next season it will be crazy. Guardiola picked the perfect time to come to England because now he's competing against the best managers around the world in a very different league. Can't wait for it!

Very good deal by Klopp and also bad news for ter Stegen's future.
