Yup... The ones that spend so much more than us are two clubs that are in crazy debt so actually spending money they don't have (and that - ironically - is even coming from Germany to some extent...) while color xeroxing for staff is forbidden    and oil/plastic clubs... I still think we're doing pretty good...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

Depends who you guys get imo...

Right now, Pep has his hands full with City. The team doesn't match the manager imo, especially player wise. I am interested to see who he plays in his 11 and see who you guys bring in this summer...

Good summer imo for City is Gundogan, Aurier, Kante, and maybe a lb.

Whoever gets Kante in England I think will be huge, ala Chelsea, Arsenal or City.

Kante is a very good player but he seems mainly suited to a counter attacking side. I don't think you could class him as a Pep player.

I'd hope for Laporte, Wendel, Gundogan, Kroos or Thiago and possibly Sanchez/Sane.

I really think we miss a goal scoring threat down the wings. Someone like Reus or Griezmann, though near impossible, would be ideal.

Hart, Denayer, Laporte, Kompany, Wendel, Gundogan, Thiago, Silva, KDB, Aguero, Sanchez/Reus/Sane would be my ideal line up.

Kante isn't a DLP like Alonso or Kroos, but I think In ENgland Pep will need a Kante type player to do well. A pivot of Kante-Fernandinho would be great imo.

Your lineup would get killed on the counter..... Thiago-GUndogan-KDB-Silva would get destroyed on the counter and defensively in general.

I think finding that pivot, a player that's great on the ball yet very good defensively, is rare in football. KDB works hard off the ball and I'd hope we bring in hard working attacking players e.g Greizmann in. I think Pep would demand that from the players making us less susceptible to counters. That's why I'm unsure about Silva - one of the most best footballers that I've watched in Sky Blue - but he's playing in pain atm and his workrate off the ball isn't there.

Workrate off the ball Silva>KDB,

KDB might be the worst defensive AM/CM I've ever seen and literally invisible defensively, sort of like Juan Mata.

Your team went from a possession base team to a counter base team with Sterling/KDB coming in. Problem is, no way is pep ever going to play counter football. Only player I see playing possession football is Silva and Yaya Toure and potentiall aguero.

No chance does Silva work harder off the ball than KDB. The stats show that. KDB may not be great at tackling but he works hard off the ball

To be honest, I can't definitively say anybody is safe next season. Silva doesn't have high workrate and his performances this season have been poor because of his injury. Aguero is injury prone and I don't think Pep can rely on him like he has Lewa. KDB can be sloppy at passing, Sterling has been average and not shown he can be a top player, Kompany can't be relied on, Toure is past it and his work rate is terrible and Hart can't play as a sweeper keeper.

Pep has his work cut out for him.
