The last time they sacked a manager in this phase, it turned out well for them...
Neuer - Boateng, Martínez, Hummels - Kimmich, Thiago, Alaba - Bernardeschi, Müller, Coman - Lewandowski

Man City manager Manuel Pellegrini will feel unsettled if Pep Guardiola quits Bayern Munich, says Arsene Wenger [source]

Plot twist... Pellegrini wins the treble but Pep succeeds him.
Sounds like a familiar plot... :P

This just shows how managers never lose. Get sacked, keep getting paid, become manager again because of high demand and short supply. :P

Somehow Mourinho engineered this. The dark side always wins in real life.

I wonder what the odds are that Mourinho was trying to get himself fired, and it took Chelsea hearing through back channels that Pep was becoming available for them to pull the trigger.
