Except for BAle and 'Beckham maybe - two of the most overhyped players in history ;)

Liverpool fans already aiming for the league, and he hasn't coached a match yet. If you have watched Liverpool play, they are shocking and I don't believe Klopp will be much of help for a year or 2.

Owen (flop at Real) Beckham (nothing special even at Man U or Real) Jonathan Woodgate (complete disaster at Real) and going way back in time Lineker at Barca (did ok) Apart from that nothing. English players don't interest foreign teams as they're not technically good enough

Fizz wrote:Hm? I'm curious as to why all English players go to Spanish and Italian clubs and not attempt to play for a German team? I don't know, it seems like either the German teams or the English players themselves don't really attempt to sign on an English player or English players wanting to go to Germany. It's just very odd to me.

Other than Bale, I dont know any other English player in Spanish or Italian league. I think it would help England, if more English players played in other top leagues.

Steve McManaman flop at Real Madrid from Liverpool. English players are overrated and overpaid, you have to go back in the 80's or 70's for some real good English players, in the days of Liverpool. :P

If Liverpool fans should have learned a lesson it would be there is no such thing as a quick fix and even a manager can only do so much, especially at a club that has been arguably mid table bar the 2013/14 title run. You don't become as unsuccessful as Liverpool with the manager being the sole issue. A lot of things need to get sorted before the manager can be blamed alone.

No... From what I know except Hargreaves(he also is Canadian, Welsh, German :P) and Jennings there haven't been other English players at Bayern.

Ravel Morrison plays for Lazio but I think it's just a loan, Ashley Cole for roma, Micah Richards used to play for fiorentina. But yes you're right there are very little English players outside of England especially compared to other nations

True Firefox - but I really think he might be able to take them to CL... Because Chelsea will stick with Jose - and they suck... Arsenal is beatable... Manu is not outstanding... They can manage an attack on 4th...
