The whole de Gea/Navas saga is just putting the cherry on the cake of embarassing United moves... How can you mess this up?
They have more money and they are a little more successful - but they'Re the HSV of the PL...

I think, however, Spanish federation will bend the rules - it's Madrid after all...
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

As for the final I was neutral.
One I hate thy hype around barca
and two since malta is full of Gobbi (you know what that means?) - it is juve's nick name. And I was not in the mood to stay all night listening to their celebrations in the street. and what about the Ita media? No I was not ready for that.

I'm from the United States (in Pennsylvania).... so really while I was growing up, it was really hard for me to ever watch any teams in Europe outside of international competitions.... but I played keeper from ages like 10-21 and then did some high school GK coaching after I finished college..... which explains my love for Kahn, Buffon, and Neuer

it wasnt until about 2006-07 when I got like Fox Soccer and Gol TV on Direct TV and was actually able to start watching games

I'm sure you have a much different perspective living near Italy around Italian fans/media than I do on the other side of the world..... so I completely understand the dislike..... although if I had to choose my least favorite team in Italy, I'd say Inter.... although right now, Roma and Napoli would top my list.... I hate so many guys on each of those teams while Inter is not irrelevant, but not exactly a top team either

and no, I dont know what "Gobbi" means.... you'll have to explain that one

The Roma fans were actually very friendly when we destroyed them last season, if I remember correctly. Swapping scarfs with the Bayern fans and stuff.

They stabbed one of our fans a few years back when we played them in Rome, I think it was 2009...

see I dont really judge teams by their fans.... for the most part, any sporting team in the world has a group of great and classy fans and a group of complete scumbags.... it is what it is

I think it was in Naples ...
U l-Kotra qamet f’daqqa – u għajtet: “Jien Maltija!
Miskin min ikasbarni, - miskin min jidħak bija!”
U l-Kotra għanniet f’daqqa – u semmgħet ma’ l-irjieħ

They may be a boring club whose sole ambition is to finish third or fourth, and maybe win one of the domestic cups, but I sort of admire Arsenal and their refusal to throw ridiculous amounts of money around like their PL rivals

When I lived in Italy, some Roma racist fans stabbed a black guy that worked with my dad, after a match. So normally I was double happy after the 1-7

I remember a controversy involving the Roma fans doing racist chants towards Pogba

Their fans in general have a problem with racism. It's weird because people are usually open and friendly - it's kist that somehow, all the racists in Italy have ended up as football ultras or whatever :P
