When EPL fans say their league is the most difficult and competitive league they fail to realize that it's not the early 2000's anymore. All this money thrown at them by Sky, BT Sports, and the BBC have them thinking that they can buy their way to success in Europe when it's their poor style of play that's to blame. There's something wrong with the league when watching highlights on the BBC bores me to death. If you want proof then go look for the BBC post-match discussion with Alan Hansen and Thiery Henry after one of England's game during the 2014 World Cup. Henry makes the point that England has a great squad but failed to make it through the group stages while you'd find it difficult to name one player on the Costa Rica team.

City looks fantastic to start the year..... with De Bruyne on the way.... and Sterling looks great and is making an early impact

Chelsea on the otherhand looks unimpressive and are putting themselves in an early deficit to City

Liverpool is just a mess.... I dont know how theyre going to score goals

City this summer - one new player in defense, one new player in midfield and one new player in attack. Can't say they didn't make a very good business, tho.

Otamendi, De Bruyne and Sterling... Definitely not bad. Now it's up to see them once again in the CL. I expect Pellegrini to step up, because he disappointed me so much in the last 2 seasons.

God they annoy me... One must have a really small dick to be parading like that - with no truth to it...

They can talk shit all they want... Competitiveness my ass!

We've had the most competitive league in Europe for years but never won anything internationally... They bitch about our domination here? Well, who has won BPL recently? They have a lot of big talk about 4 contenders - my ass! I'm willing to take almost any bet, that it will be City... 3 gamedays in! There was no real competition for Chelsea last year... Arsenal? Kidding? They wouldn't win an empty pot at a flower repotting contest! Man U? Yeah right, maybe in a few years... Chelsea is out already... They've had 5 winners ever since PL was introduced... At the same time we have 5 teams within the same timeframe...

13x ManUre
4x Chelski
3x Arsenal
2x Shitty
1x Rovers

13x Bayern
5x Dortmund
2x Bremen
1x Kaiserslautern
1x Stuttgart
1x Wolfsburg

Chelski won by far, we won by far last year - where's the difference?

Difference is, we have TWO of the strongest teams in the world in our league: Bayern and Dortmund - they would probably wipe the floor with every PL club there is... Hope Dortmund will win Euro League to prove they're full of sh*t!
Thanks for nothing, :pep: !!

I still don't think KdB is all that but paired with Man C's front four they will be dangerous in the EPL

Can Silva and KdB coexist? Both of them want to have the play come through them so I'm not sure how much he will help them.

Silva will play as a right winger, De Bruyne in the center, Sterling on the left? Probably. Or De Bruyne on the right win with Silva as a "10".

In the modern game the front four is always interchanging, the formation is never the as dogmatic as fans like to think when it looking at how a team will play. I'm sure all four of those guys will be playing off each other and all are pretty comfortable playing anywhere in that front four.

And Schweini is not playing very well, also Romero was very poor on the 3rd goal.

And Rooney missed a very easy goal. United stinks ATM. Wolfsburg has a fair chance to pass or even win the group.

was just coming to see if there was an Schweinsteiger update.... I wish him well, but I'm not expecting it.... he's just too broken down

and anytime I see Man U I smile.... I really dislike Man U and Chelsea (as does everyone)

I'd expect De Bruyne to be listed on the right.... but as firefox1234 stated below, I expect them to be interchanging throughout the match..... Silva and Sterling already do it a ton between central and on the left

they are really really talented and will be fun to watch

You seem to have way too much sympathy for that horrible club. :-/
