ManU still need to strengthen their last line. The house is built from the ground up.

Seems to me like Slaven Bilić doesn't care too much. :D

They should have been eliminated a forthright ago ... against my local team... they went trough to this round thanks to a home goal in the 91st min and needed penalties in the end...

Next Sun they play Arsenal so I think their heads were already in the E(HYPED)PL

What a waste of a place. I was so annoyed when Hull did the same last year. Threw away our first European campaign and I doubt we'll have another for a long long time. And look how our league campaign turned out

Plot twist. van Gaal turns Schewini into a winger.

Mourinho said last night after renewing his contract that Chelsea were “the club closest to my heart” but also admitted that Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich had become uniquely powerful in comparison to any English club.

“I think there are only three clubs in the world who have the power to say, 'I don’t sell’, this is Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Is anyone in England interested in Thomas Müller? For sure. Can we, England, bring Thomas Müller from Bayern? I don’t think so.
“Does anyone want [Lionel] Messi? Can you bring him? I don’t think so. They are big clubs with big history, economically strong and stable, income amazing. I think they sell when they want to sell. When you see a player leave one of these big clubs you have to think it’s because they want him to go. That’s my feeling. [I’m] speaking about the ones who make the world stop. Big transfers. When does Messi leave Barcelona? When he finishes his career.”

“The way is to bring players like [Sergio] Agüero when Man City bought him or [Eden] Hazard when Chelsea bought him,” he said. “Try to be lucky and have an Alexis [Sánchez] that is not playing regularly in Barcelona. [Cesc] Fabregas is similar to Alexis, not playing regularly. Arrive at a moment where these top players really want to leave and they force it a little bit.”

That's an awful half of football. I hope the game turns a bit exciting in the second half. It's good to have football back but not like this.
