I remember when managers used to smoke publicly before, especially Lippi smoking cigars... Now it would look awkward to see someone from the staff smoking.

I just love Southhampton.. Lost almost a whole squad of important players and playing even BETTER.. Chelski? Man Oilski? Sheik City? You can learn something from that management :)

In Caley's ExpG model as of Jan.9, Southampton is predicted to be fifth. [source]
I'm not sure if their win would change anything but Southampton had the better chances.

 with 150M, Moyesiah still did better by 1 point as of matchday 21.

That Tadic goal highlights one main difference between Neuer and De Gea (and other GKs). Neuer wouldn't leave his line or box open like that when he's on a 1v1 situation in the box. Inside the box, he's quite conservative. He'll stay on his feet and use his body (torso) to block the ball. De Gea not only didn't get the ball, he put his body in a position where he wouldn't be able to get back on his feet immediately for a rebound.

For example, you would think Neuer would immediately rush to challenge Paulinho but he waited on his line for a shot.

But that United defense though... 4 men on Tadic and 2 Soton players in good positions.

But I don't think he (de gea) had another choice... OK he didn't cover his goal well enough but he made the right decision, it was the defenders' fault.

The subtleties in the position for me. He steps out of his line rushes close to the Soton player but not close enough to actually prevent any shooting angle. And the Soton player found an angle. He knows it'll be a near post shot but he didn't stick close to it and rushed forward. It would have been easier to block the shot if he stayed near/close the post. Or if he's going to rush forward he could have moved closer to the player and make it harder for him to take a shot.

Will my leg reach it?

No it won't.

De Gea is a good GK... but he's not Neuer.
They need this marketing stuff, RM must have in every position the best player. Casillas was never the best... except in Spain.
It's convenient for RM to have a Spanish GK at least because other players are just shiny toys to them, it's good to have a 'Casillas' argument. :P
But what fascinates me is how Ronaldo friendzoned MUFC...
Once he says he wants to finish his career at RM, once at MUFC, once at MLS... he will be at three places at once.
Effing marketing!

Didn't know that Moyes had more points at this stage last season. Proves that Man United are only being made to look good by the weaknesses of teams like Arsenal and Liverpool.

They don't - they have the same amount of points, although van Gaal has a slightly better goal difference. United fans need patience to recover from the crap Ferguson left them with, though.
