Southampton 8-0 against Sunderland. What a team, even if they sold their core players, they looked better off.

That was fcking crazy. Liverpool though will be eaten by RM. Shit defense. Lucky QPR is shittier. #-o

Roy Hodgson leaves 10 minutes before end, misses best climax in recent memory

Was this a foul? Someone said to me it's dangerous play and should be indirect free kick in the box. Just looked to me like Johnson tried to clear the ball slipped while the two QPR players went for it, tumbled and as Johnson was falling, his studs hit the player.

Don't know he either thought the game is done or he hated the sight of Liverpool winning by an OG. It was cringing to watch overall apart from that last 10 minutes xD

What a game that was. Both teams had brilliant chances. City just can't get that ball in. 8th time City has gone down at the first half and failed to comeback in PL.

In his biography of Mourinho, Diego Torres reported that Mourinho had laid out his 7 point philosophy for big games to the Real dressing room:

1. The game is won by the team who commits fewer errors.
2. Football favors whoever provokes more errors in the opposition.
3. Away from home, instead of trying to be superior to the opposition, it’s better to encourage their mistakes.
4. Whoever has the ball is more likely to make a mistake.
5. Whoever renounces possession reduces the possibility of making a mistake.
6. Whoever has the ball has fear.
7. Whoever does not have it is therefore stronger.

That's a very interesting set of principles coming from a very smart individual. Mourinho has been credited, above all, for his motivational skills. He wasn't going to win possession over Barça during his tenure; hell, Barça's players have been learning the passing thing and the 'rondos' for close to their entire lives. So he goes for the opposite (not to mention quicker) route: let them have the ball, they'll make a mistake sooner or later. I think he was trying to motivate Real players with those principles rather than applying a set of factual tactics.
