A really embarrassing MUFC, they're really living the nightmare, never thought they'd go this low. Now I see why it was the right time for Ferguson to retire. No manager can help them, all they need is a miracle, they better start praying to God 24/7 before they finish in Championship. They need to set up meetings with the Pope, the Dalai Lama, and every spiritual leader out there and hope it will work somehow. Exorcism? It's worth a try.

I had no time to check their line up yet... I presume that they played with the 3rd team. Hopefully ... or not?

Yes apart from De Gea and Januzaj, most are backup players. Welbeck, Chicha, Anderson, Kagawa and other youngsters from their academy I think. The starters were not brought so LVG had no one to pull from the bench except Januzaj.

Still, no real team would lose 4-0 against those even with their U21s. I'm sure Bayern, Real, etc. would've won anyway. We've played better teams with reserves and youngsters many times.

Just watch the highlights of the goals, and you can see how horrendous (and that a pretty weak adjective) United's defense was. Damn, a school team would play better defense.

It seems that Suzuki is much better than Chevrolet. :P That third goal was saveable.

Seeing as they were getting eliminated in the last 16 every year, it's debatable whether you could call them a top team at the time.
