I think the injuries were no coincidence. Liverpool scored with 10 minutes left (15 with injury time) and almost scored another one seconds after. If that one had gone in a comeback wouldn't have been impossible. City started fouling then. That said, one of the players did get injured on his own.

True
Lambert scored and then missed a sitter (great kompany defense though)

moreno was the one who got injured by himself

Skrtel got literally ran over by the tank Yaya Toure

I never in a second thought Liverpool would win this game. They haven't since 2008. But they dominated City mostly in the game but really lack that clear chance and City have better and stronger players. Rodgers should really try starting Lambert. Two games, two goals. Sturridge needs another striker beside him.

With this Liverpool, I think they'll still be Top 4. They have a system now and it's working.

Balotelli is an unknown factor but at 16M, and 50% paycut. It's an okay deal with Borini going to be sold for 14M.

Glen Johnson being injured is a blessing in disguise for the Scouse, he is dreadful.

I had a dream last night. I dreamed Bayern signed Micah Richards and relocated him in midfield. He then proceeded to destroy every knee and ankle from the Rurh to Barajas. God I miss van Bommel.

What should Di Maria be thinking right now? 1-2 against Swansea.. 1-1 vs Sunderland and now Man U is trailing 2-0 against Milton Keynes Dons :D Or are the players just down because Benatia signed with us? :PP

make it 3-0 :D

Their midfield and Defence is non existent really. Midfield losing the ball and then defense caught out of position.
Attack isnt good either. 1st shot on target in the 72nd minute. Well done van Gaal, well done indeed!

Their squad's mediocrity is even more exposed with LVG's ideas. Just use classic English tactic of 442 and tell them to long ball it.

Heard Kagawa got concussion. Poor lad can't catch a break.

Moyes' 8-1-1 fit their squad the best IMO :P
