What is it with 2014 and teams running out of gas at the end of the season?

The EPL has been truly exciting this year. Yet it has felt strangely like a competition where the top four try to hand the trophy to each other. I've got it now! The trick is to be in second and convince the others it's a game of hot potato and the one who wins the championship loses (but secretly you catch the potato and win :D ). The secondary goal is to embarrass all the commentators for jumping on bandwagons and us by convincing us that there might be a less annoying contender for the EPL than Chelsea, Man United or Man City.

To be fair in Germany they have discovered the secret to making us miserable is to make us win the league ASAP. THEN when the wheels have apparently fallen off do Dortmund suddenly remember how to play but only well enough so that we still have to play best counterattacking bus ever #-o

I hope so. Kind of because it would be hilarious. I'm hoping other big teams fall but I'm going to convince myself if I don't vocalize my hopes anymore then I won't jynx anything.

I was expecting City to screw up in a game, but after last night's result I don't think they will. They have a good winning mentality to go through this.

Thing is they have to lose. A draw would not be enough anymore. It would only make yesterday's result hurt even more.

The picture is too small but I also saw it and it made me laugh. Not realistic though, no one cries when he/she visits Is-Serkin! :P
