So heartbreaking. It's still possible but it will take nothing short of a miracle now. I pray that Atletico don't bottle it too. [-o<

Tony Pulis deserves the coach of the year award even if he didn't coach in the CL.

In England there is a saying "Typical City" referring to them bottling it. But there is a limit to how "typical" they might be. I very much doubt they are going to let it slip away from them from here on in. 2 home matches left, a win and a draw would suffice. They won't f.ck it up.

he is of Maltese descent - his grandfather was from Zabbar who married a Welsh and settled there.
One more curiosity about Palace - their nr.7 Yala Bolasie used to play in the Maltese Premier league with Floriana FC.

2 teams from which I expected to finally give something great to football after Borussia Dortmund. But after this weekend and this Monday, I see only dark clouds are coming above Liverpool and the part of Madrid where Atletico fans live.

I had suspected that Pulis had Maltese blood because of his surname but did not know the details.

What is this needless discussion? Aston Villa are winning on Wednesday, no point in discussing it further. 8)

I would console myself by this post if I didn't know that you predicted that we will beat Real Madrid home and away. :(

I predicted 2-2 in Madrid! :D

Besides, I did that just to score some points with Bayern fans. :P

If you want to do that make sure you post lots of photos and videos of you celebrating with the triumphant Bayern fans on 17 May. :D

A video of the Hummels mistake which will lead to the winner won't hurt either.
