Chelsea lacked any desire in that match. City looked the better team throughout the whole 90 minutes. Jovetic didn't look bad either. All in all a deserved win for City.

I'm glad they won as I just can't stand the media love-in with Mourinho here in the UK..

Anyone see David Luiz today, he made an utter mess for Chelsea's backline. I cant believe the english media thinks Bayern want to spill €40m on that disaster waiting to happen. I don't know why anyone would pay that much for him.

I bet we won't be seeing him anytime soon as CB. He has been playing as DM for Chelsea in recent games.

Karma.

I disagree. I think he would have been a good choice in the summer if HSV survived relegation. He is a good coach mid or long term. But as a kind of saviour? I have my doubts.

The same can be said for Fulham I suppose, but keep in mind that HSV almost certainly have higher expectations than Fulham, and while I do not know about Fulham themselves, as mentioned the league is already similar in style to Magath's. I think it has a bigger chance of working out.

mid term yes, long term no. He has never been at a club longer and several people (among them Hoeness for example) said that his system of pressuring the players is not suited to the long term.

I dont know if he would be good for the leftover season at Hamburg, but he certainly delivered immediately at the clubs he has been previously.

Many of the fouls given as 'obstruction' fouls are like that.

FA Cup Ars-Lpool, I am hoping for a draw which if I am not mistaken even at this stage will result in a replay. This will continue to make Arsenal's schedule even more busier...

Some rotation in the Arsenal squad for today's match. Sagna, Gibbs, Wilshere, Cazorla and Giroud all rested.

Can see Liverpool grab a win here as well, Wenger should have gone for the win in this one as they've got a bigger chance of winning the FA cup then the CL in my opinion.

#Arsenal team: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Monreal, Flamini, Arteta, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Podolski, Sanogo

#LFC team v @Arsenal: Jones, Flanagan, Skrtel, Agger, Cissokho, Gerrard, Allen, Coutinho, Suarez, Sterling, Sturridge

Arsenal playing very well so far, and that's with a lot of players being rested. Take nothing for granted lads, we will have a tough time against them on Wednesday.

Yeah, Webb's reaction was priceless.

Imo he is the best ref on the planet.

Arsenal will give you a tough time but they have to play Chamberlain or Podolski.
