So Arshavin will leave Arsenal. Youtube Arshavin 4 goals - amazing. :) But sad is that he's getting old, I like him very much, I hope he will make it to WC with Russia.

To be honest he never really met the expectations at the Emirates. He was stellar at the beginning but that was it. The rest was either mediocre or rubbish. In the end he waited for his big money contract to expire.

For me Arshavin is not a great player though.

Keep in mind there's a very real chance that the German U-21 team will repeat this feat tonight. :P

its painful to watch as an englishman were weaker with every world cup and always have an excuse when its the team not being good enough. 2002 we were unlucky 2004 robbed by portugal 2006 same thing 2010 moan about lampard goal when germany outplayed us and 2012 outplayed by italy. 3 of those tournaments ended in us losing penalty shootouts

Jesús Navas completes £14.9m (€17.5m) move to Manchester City from Sevilla. Not a bad price for a player of his quality.

Man City are making some proper transfers this season. Players like Navas and Fernandihno are definitely needed for their squad in place of the ridiculously overrated Milner and Barry. With Pelligrini to coach them next season, they have a big chance of retaking the EPL trophy (fighting with Chelsea for that one) and might as well reach the latter stages of the CL campaign (until of course, they bump into us ;) ). They have been relatively "smart" up till now with regards to transfers.

It really feels that way, unless he can reinvent himself as a center-forward. He could fill the Eto'o-Inter role for Mourinho, but mostly I see no real space for him in that squad.

FYI Chelsea bought Schurlle for less than Liverpool bought Henderson :D
