mancini poor management strikes again subs on dzeko with two minutes to go took off tevez to play toure further up and surprisingly vital was his choice of keeper the 6'8 cup goalkeeper might have been tall enough to stop that going in but he axes him for the final btw callum mcmannaman is something special

+4 minutes added time. 96 min.... They should just change the official time of a football match from 90 minutes to 95 minutes.

Doesnt change the fact that english referees adore injury time

Based on match circumstances , there should be 2 minutes injury time
4th official gives 4 minutes
First referee says he aint no better than me and adds 2 minutes on top
An assistant referee says "could you please add 1 minute for me?"

So instead of the true 92 minutes or the announced 94 minutes you get 97 minutes!!

As for more extra time than declared:

The announcement of the additional time does not indicate the exact amount of time left in the match. The time may be increased if the referee considers it appropriate but never reduced

Well, i know that
And the law has been done in case a player gets severely injured, a psycho fan enters the pitch ...etc
But not to give ferguson his golden goal!!!

In england, it became a tradition to give few minutes extra over the already inflated extra time!!!

Alan Pardew, after winning yesterday and knowing that they'll stay put in PL, said that he doesn't care a bit now if Arsenal beat them 4-0 in their last game of the season which is at Newcastle's home.
[-X Pardew
Spurs' fans are pouring their wrath on him.
Damn, I want Spurs to make it to CL. Arsenal are a disgrace.
Also, I've always wanted to know Wenger's views about our wins against Juce and Barca after he said that we don't have the character to be the best.

Its not only England the main reason there's so much added time in the second half is substitutions I think its usually 45 seconds per sub with there usually being at least 4 subs in the second half its easy to see why there's so much

In the Bundesliga, even if there were six subs in the second half, it is not the first time the referee whistled on the 90min or even a few seconds earlier.

Have you guys noticed that there's only one ball that is used in EPL? If it's hit into the audience, they wait for it to be thrown onto the pitch.

I remember watching a Spurs game where a player kicked it far into the audience and the ball wasn't returned ( No idea what happened). Groundsman had to run in inside and he brought 3 balls with him. The play halted for like more than a min. That was hilarious.

I'll get to that point after the CL final, because it will still make his words right if we lost it, God forbids.

My mate is a referree, and he says guidance is 30seconds per substitute, so if all subs are made, that's about 3mins added time there.
