what do you guys think about today's Super Sunday (as it was labeled by the MFA marketing team)
Hibs v Balzan 3 - 1
Valletta v Floriana 1 - 1

Hibs made a big big step towards winning the League. Although there are 6 more games to be played and there is Valletta vs Hibs next Wed.
For the record Hibs are leading both Valletta and Balzan with five points.

I've kinda lost touch with the league recently since the trophy is our only hope this season. Hibs have opened up quite a lead there. They'll probably win I guess.

The top three still have to face you guys. You could determine the title.

In other news, two of our players had their cars broken into during the game (Hibs Stadium). It is apparently something regular there during games so be careful if you plan to attend.

AGAIN as we already did it last season...
We can still make it to third but it will be very very difficult.
This time round 4th place does not guarantee a place in the uefa comp

That's quite an overhaul. Are they eligible for other NTs though?

they are supposed to be conducting the research... The Aussies will be very difficult to convince especially the Liverpool guy.

Oscar Borg was being monitored by Turkey as his grandma was born in Istanbul, The 17-year-old was born and grew up in Surrey but alerted the Turkish Football Association to his eligibility when they discovered his grandmother was born in Istanbul

We did it... finished 3rd... but in order to qualify for the Uefa Comp we have to wait until early next wk as we were not given the necessary license so we lodged a protest.

In the meantime congrsts to Bayernbazi for winning the league.
That young lad Jurgen Degabriele is Malta's future... imo I am sure that he will soon be playing abroad.

And all the best for fcbayernmuenchen for the FA Trophy.

Who knew a youth game could be so enjoyable? Great game, I'm glad I went! Happy my team won a trophy of course but proud of our hometown team for reaching the final as well. Their regular supporters look like great fans.

Just saw the most recent posts in this thread. Thanks for your wishes regarding the KO trophy. I'm confident... we're the most in-form team in Malta at the moment. Anything can happen though.

I was impressed with both team and supporters Attard have.
They told me that two of their best players were missing as one (striker) was suspended and another joined Valletta in January.
Those two foreigners they have are really good and also the keeper.

As for the game imo the ref was a bit biased towards the bigger tm and too harsh with the minnows.(as always happen) Attard had two penalty calls while seconds in the sec half Sliema were awarded a soft penalty.
But overall Sliema were the better tm so a well deserved win for them.

I think this locality has a potential but unfortunately since most residents (like me) come from other villages their is a lack of passion towards the same village.

Maybe one day the three villages will all be playing in the Premier League.

On another matter Birkirkara were not given the uefa licence.
We will appeal with uefa as this was surely bad decision by the mfa
