hmm... I think so...
We had more chances however after your beautiful goal you had another chance to win all the points (which could have been so harsh)
Were you there ?
On a side note; I think most of the Sliema supporters have been away from the stadium a bit too much! How can day chant ' b'kara = xejn' ? !?!!

With a bit more luck both teams could have won, which is why I think a draw was fair. Birkirkara's goal was a massive blunder by Sliema, but then Birkirkara had their own mistakes which stopped them from scoring more.

I think most of the Sliema supporters are still away even now!! I know who started that chant because I was next to him. He wanted to start the chant much earlier but we refused to do so until we score.

He must be an idiot. sorry but that is the reality;
Birkirkara has won the most honors since the yr 2000.

The problem with Sliema is that not only do less people attend games than other teams, but those that go are "silent supporters". Basically any form of support is led by around 15 fans, i.e the only youths who go to games. The others usually continue then, so once the chant started most of the other fans picked it up.

Exactly. I'm sceptical that the transfer will happen myself, but it might happen after all. Apart from the player's wish to play abroad (which is not very realistic tbh) there is a second much less-known reason why it hasn't happened yet, but the scales are turning in favour of the transfer. I'm not sure whether free agents can sign contracts once the transfer market closes. If not, I think the market will close before a decision is made.

He is supposed to sign with Melbourne Hearts...

However there is nothing finalised yet ... no wonders it would not be the first time.

t will happen. He was supposed to sign for us last Wednesday but pulled out at the last moment because of this deal, so I suppose it'll happen.

Too bad we threw these away last Saturday. :lol:

Both Sliema and Birkirkara won their rivalries today. :D Congratulations! I would have stayed to watch the game but couldn't bear 90 minutes with Valletta supporters. :lol:

I don't blame you :)
We could have won by at least 2/3 more goals. On three occasions we had a player face to face with the keeper. Therefore I am not totally satisfied we could have fu**** up at the end...

Similar to us then. We only had 1-2 more clear chances other than the goal but we also almost ruined everything in the end. The last 3 games haven't been good but we somehow picked up 7 points anyway. We'll need to improve if we want to win the next 2 games though (Valletta and Hibs).

Btw did you see our goal? :D https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=71 ... 5&refid=12

Yes he is a very good player. If he wants to stay in Malta he should move to one of the big teams,
