Apparently Sliema paid Nafti's flight to Malta only for him to meet with Balzan representatives as soon as he got here and sign for them.

EDIT: The view from both parties. In my opinion if what Nafti is alleging is true then the club was disrespectful but he's still in the wrong.

I believe the Sliema W's view.

You play Vlt in matchday 1? Tvm2 to air it... It is not the supercup right? (scheduled for December)

Yeah we play Valletta on Friday in matchday 1 but I'll be watching the Pokal.

they've got the money so I think they will have a decent League campaign...
They don't bring me good memory. In 1971 we lost the FA Trophy final against them after three replays!!! Apparently there were a lot of money involved...
Are you aware that this time round only one team will get relegated? I think It will be one from either Mosta or Pembroke. Luxol got the French investor who used to sponsor us... so I think that they will make it.

Again I predict a fierce battle for the euro spots with Hibs & Balzan are the favorites for the title than Valletta , Birkirkara and Floriana come next.
Sliema and Tarxien the dark horses. Gzira and Hamrun will be safe in the mid table with Luxol Mosta and Pembroke to battle it out to avoid the drop.

I think our result tonight will give a good indication of whether we stand any chance to compete for the title, although we definitely won't be anywhere near favourites.

for the title !!! I am sorry you've got no chance. It has to be a Leicester year for that to happen.
Your goal should be uefa qualification.

Like I said, definitely far from favourities. But if we show that we are finally able to beat Valletta then I do believe we have a fighting chance.

What I don't get is how this took so long when Bayern started their own replacement around the same time and finished weeks ago.

heqq ara  Just take an example by our road works and you 'll get the answer

What about the transfers... We loaned out one of our best Maltese players - Ryan Camenzuli to Floriana with an option for Flo to make the deal permanent.
Now it is Rowen Muscat's turn (he returned from his loan from Italy but is not in the coach's plan) WTF??? He was nominated as one of the best players for his club in Italy and this only in his short stint at the club... but strange enough and he is not in our plans!
I am afraid that somebody from abroad has his fingers in this
