4-1 and we played more than half of the game with 10 men against one of the best teams this season. Brilliant start for Sliema's new coach. We looked very good up front (without MM... coincidence?)

very good match by our lads away to Serbia U17, but then again we lost 0-1 :( Watching the stats we deserved much much more... I'll hope they keep it up for the upcoming matches vs Holland & Finland [source]

1-0 loss against Netherlands U17. Not bad. :)

Yes indeed and it seems that we played goof ft ball again
see the stats, now it is finland hopefully we will score and earn at least a point which point will enable us to finish 3rd [source]

As for our local scene ... Yesterday we massacred our bitter rivals who stole us last seasons' championship by beating us in the last match of the season to topple us by just one point after we lead the table from day 1...
2-0 but it could have easily been 4-0 or more..

the old stadium in Malta... The Empire stadium Gzira used from 1922 till 1981. It had no turf but rough surface, it saw some epic games both at club level where Maltese clubs played giants such as Real Madrid Manchester UTD (both drew 0-0 vs Hibernians, Juventus, Inter, Panatinaikos and the famous games vs West Germany 0-0 and England 0-1,unfortunately it is now in a state of abandon and the proper owners are to f*** all the memories that this place brings to our old generations by converting into apartments, shopping malls etc - the concrete jungle  [-X [source]

What happened ramsej? I cannot watch the game and am following it on a betting site and it showed: GOAL 1-0 Birkirkara immediately followed by a goal kick to Sliema and 0-0. :?

Sorry, I should've specified the time. This was before the official goal was scored.

Sounds like you don't know either... I'm curious now.

No idea to be honest, but I know he wasn't playing or being put on the bench earlier this season because he was going abroad on trials too often (with other teams too I believe). They felt he needed to settle down first so he was kept in the minors team for a while.

Also, I don't know if you heard but Sliema released Barbetti last week because he was caught falsifying a license. While I understand the need for disciplinary measure, in my opinion the decision to release him was not in the club's best interests.
