Who knows. I doubt it though.

The Maltese players often joke with the Italians about that. They tell them they will be Maltese soon enough.

We definitely deserved to win. We could've scored three or four and their goal came from a non-existent free kick. They even cleared a ball off the line.

Undortunately, I think we will regret not winning next week.

Woah what a goal! Amazing!

I think he made them hate him. He had some 2 or 3 other extremely dangerous chances (one was cleared off the line by a defender). Later in the game they started making monkey noises at him.

Birkirkara FC (my team) just finished playing an away match in Hungary for the Europa league. We played brilliantly. We hit the bar after some 10minutes. Howecer Diosgyori took the lead in the 32nd minute. We equalized 4 minutes later from a direct free kick. When the second half was 42seconds old our scorer received a harsh second YC and we had to play the whole half with a man down. As we were getting close to achieve a very useful away draw we conceded in the 93rd m  Soon after we had a chance to score the 2-2 however it went begging. Hard luck.
I believe that we can still do it today week.

Seems like you were unlucky too. :( Still at least a 1-0 is enough.

Maltese teams are scoring what will probably be some of the best goals in the whole tournament. =P~

It must be intimidating for our players to play in such crowds. Our opponents have a stadium with a stadium capacity of 56k...

he moved to Egypt... I think he had the potential to play in Europe...

P.S B'Kara played Sliema in a friendly match. The Yellows won 2-1. In the meantime replay Facebook reported that: Minbarra Aidan Jake Friggieri, għal Sliema Wanderers illejla ddebuttaw ukoll il-goalkeeper Timmy Aquilina, id-difensur Justin Vella u l-winger Chris Mercieca.

Filfatt fil-logħba ta' ħbiberija kontra Birkirkara, fit-tieni half lagħbu disa' plejers taħt id-19-il sena.

Nawgurawlhom karriera mill-isbaħ.

I didn't even know there was a match until the game was over. Summer is waterpolo season. I was at the Sliema-Neptunes game at that time. :)

Not good enough for a Maltese team that's not even one of the big teams in the country... damn that sucks!

He changes club every year (if not more) these days, according to wikipedia.
