I think the latest excuse is that when Barcelona are losing they sub off Messi so that people say "oh they didn't have a fit Messi though!"

MD says it was a precautionary substitution.

That Villa goal was really nice. His celebration was even nicer ;)

Damn, that's even higher than the standards set by Busquets.

Am I the only one who thinks this Real Madrid team with Modric, Özil, Ronaldo, Benz and Isco in one line-up is an accident waiting to happen? The trust in Carlo Ancelotti seems a little premature, too.

At the end of his stay at Milan their football was old-fashioned just like Hitzfeld in 2004. He has yet to prove that he's got it still in him.

He isn't a brilliant tactician, he is a superb man manager though. That's probably why he tries to cram so many stars into one lineup.

Real could have lost to Granada yesterday if Granada finished better. And Ronaldo was having a bad game. Bale effect?

Barcelona wins SuperCopa on aggregate FT 0-0. Boring and dirty game with a dumb ref. Worse match so far this season.

Dani Alvez was stepped on the back and Pepe was like, "Damn, that's cold."

Yeah... I was almost expecting to see him give a red card to his fellow ref just to make everything more absurd. If the United-Chelsea was a waste of 90 minutes, this lessened and sucked 90 minutes of my lifespan.

Anyways, kept reading comments about Atletico has the best defense in Spain and from the games I saw of them, I think I agree. Although they lost my respect for being so dirty today. They kept fouling Messi and as I see it, just to injure him or something. So if Atletico has one of the best defense in Europe, why no Atletico players in Spain squad?

Seriously, Arbeloa needs to gtfo there. Or not. Germany will gain from it.

edit: video added.
