Tito Vilanova could be leaving Barça. There's a press conference in two and a half hours

I hope this isn't true, but it will be interesting to see who replaces him. In all honesty, it's not like all his replacements will be a step below him. I find him to be a decent coach, but he's a bit limited on the tactical side, as we saw first hand. I'd like Bielsa to replace him.

It's now 100% confirmed. Tito Vilanova is no longer Barça's coach due to a setback in his cancer treatment. The positive thing is that he is expected to fully recover from it in a few months

Okay, "strong" rumors that Mancini is to replace him  That would be disastrous for Barca if it was true.

I really don't think so.

BTW as you might suspect Jupp Heynckes is another name being mentioned by the media :P

Really sad news for him, I wish him all the best and I really hope to God he recovers from his..Barcelona, I feel, will have one of their toughest seasons ever. So much going on there at the moment, it will affect the players no doubt.

On the replacement I feel it's either going to be this assistant coach they keep mentioning or perhaps AVB? No chance of Mancini even being approached by them.

AVB would be the most en vogue option. Mancini would be a disaster.

I've heard AVB mooted. But I can't see it myself.

They should go for Bielsa or Laudrup.

Tata Martinez and Luis Enrique are their main targets

Problem with the latter is that he's been Celta de Vigo coach for less than a month now. I'm not sure if they can sign him

TV3 is now saying Luis Enrique has been appointed as their new coach. Gerardo Martino has also been rumored.
